USE CASES
Streaming and media
Rights are sold by region, so catalogue, quality and subtitle tracks differ per country. Confirming a distributor delivered means watching from there.
Long sessions, not rotation
Playback is a connection held for tens of minutes, with segment requests and resume-position sync alongside. Switching exits mid-flow reads as the account being used from another location — at best the stream stops, at worst it trips fraud controls. This case needs a fixed residential IP.
What to verify
Distribution checks usually come down to four things, all measured in-region.
- Catalogue: everything licensed is present, and nothing unlicensed leaked in
- Quality: the top tier is available as agreed
- Subtitles and dubs: all contracted language tracks exist
- Playback: the CDN hits locally and start-up time is acceptable
Budget the bandwidth
Video is the heaviest of these cases: roughly 3 to 5 GB per hour at 1080p. For ongoing multi-region checks, per-gigabyte billing overruns quickly and an unlimited monthly plan fits better.
