Access restrictions and usage rules
Blocked site categories, open ports, speed and concurrency limits for static residential, scenario ISP, premium residential, mobile, datacenter and IPv6 proxies. Check your target before you buy.
Before you buy or use a NextProxy service, check that the website, platform or app you need can be reached with the product you pick. Restrictions differ by product and are listed below.
Global restrictions
Unless stated otherwise below, these restrictions apply to static residential (Standard ISP and Clean ISP), scenario ISP, premium residential, mobile, datacenter and IPv6:
- Government websites and all
.govdomains - Bank and financial institution websites
- Email-related ports, including but not limited to
25,465,587,2525,110,143,993and995
These restrictions exist for compliance, abuse prevention and network stability.
Restrictions by product
Static residential
| Standard ISP | Clean ISP | |
|---|---|---|
| Specific websites | No blocks beyond the global restrictions | Stripe is blocked |
| Ports | Global port restrictions apply | Global port restrictions apply |
Clean ISP cannot reach Stripe, including Stripe Checkout and Link: Stripe payment pages and the Stripe dashboard will not load. Choose Standard ISP if your work needs Stripe.
Scenario ISP
No specific websites are blocked beyond the global restrictions at the moment. Global port restrictions still apply.
Premium residential
Access to these categories is restricted, including but not limited to:
- Government websites and
.govdomains - Gaming console networks, such as PlayStation
- Email ports (SMTP and IMAP):
25,465,587,993
Mobile
Mobile proxies have additional restrictions because of carrier network policies and abuse prevention. Blocked categories include:
- Financial services and payment platforms, such as PayPal, Stripe and online banking
- Cryptocurrency exchanges and related services
- Government websites
- Major streaming platforms, such as Netflix
- Certain high-risk services and gaming platforms
Datacenter
Blocked:
- Banks, payment processors and other financial services websites
- Government websites and all
.govdomains - Advertising and tracking domains, including Doubleclick, Appsflyer and Adtelligent
- Email and webmail providers, including Yahoo and Outlook
- Any port other than
80(HTTP) and443(HTTPS)
Speed: datacenter proxies normally run at 300–500 Mbps. Unlimited-traffic plans include a monthly amount of full-speed traffic based on how many IPs you hold; past that amount, speed may be reduced.
Concurrent connections: every datacenter plan allows up to 1,000 concurrent connections by default, regardless of plan size or traffic, counted across all IPs on the account. With the high-concurrency add-on, each IP gets 10 concurrent connections; for example, a 1,000-IP plan with the add-on allows up to 10,000.
IPv6
Some Microsoft services cannot be reached over IPv6 proxies in some locations.
Speed: unlimited IPv6 plans run at the bandwidth you buy, up to 1,000 Mbps. Each unlimited plan is for one customer or organization; sharing one plan among unrelated users can get it slowed down, restricted or suspended.
Important notice
These lists are not exhaustive. We may restrict additional domains, ports or services without notice, and the restricted set can change at any time. If you are not sure whether a site can be reached, ask live chat before you buy.
Whether a proxy can reach a site also depends on many factors outside our control:
- Restrictions on the target website
- Anti-bot systems
- ASN and IP filtering
- Geo-blocking
- Session behavior
- IPv4 / IPv6 support
- Carrier network policies
We do not guarantee access to any specific website, domain or service. Refunds are generally not issued when a specific website, platform or use case does not work and was not tested before purchase.
